Client project: Arnerich Massena developed the I AM Learning Partnership community outreach program. Kristina originally worked with the program and it's founders to create the name and logo. The I AM represents the two entities that work together for the children, Irvington School and Arnerich Massena. After establishing barKton Studio she created a project for the kids in the program to earn money for a fund raising campaign.
Solution: barKton Studio introduced a collaborative art project to the young ladies of I AM Learning Partnership. Each girl folded a sheet of paper into thirds and drew a bird's head. She then passed the paper on to a second girl that drew a body for the bird, a third girl drew the bird's tail so that a fantastical bird resulted from a collaboration between three girls. The girl that drew the bird's head used oil pastels to color the bird, created an environment for the bird and gave the bird a name. Kristina scanned the drawings to create a yearly calendar and a poster that was later sold in a school fund raiser auction.
